Author: National Alliance to End Homelessness

The Alliance is launching a McKinney-Vento Appropriations Campaign to urge Congress to provide $2.4 billion for McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants in FY 2011. While the HEARTH Act will provide new resources for your community, without adequate appropriations funding to pay for these expansions, there may be less money for new McKinney activities.

We will continue to update this page with new materials and activities related to the McKinney Advocacy Campaign, so be sure to check back often. If you are not already receiving email updates on this campaign, please email Amanda Krusemark at akrusemark@naeh.org.
