April 24, 2015 Is homelessness in the U.S. increasing or decreasing? There are, what appear to be, conflicting answers to that question. This is due to variations in the types of people counted, the data sources used, and methodologies used to collect data. This resource explains trends in homelessness as well as the various data sources for and limitations on data collected on homelessness.

The State of Homelessness in America 2015

April 1, 2015 The State of Homelessness in America 2015 is the fifth in a series of reports that chart progress in ending homelessness in the United States. It uses the most recently available data to present national and state trends in homelessness between 2013 and 2014, trends in populations at risk of homelessness from 2012 to 2013, and trends in the types and utilization of assistance available to people experiencing homelessness.

Five Steps to End Veteran Homelessness

March 3, 2015 As part of the Alliance’s ongoing effort to provide guidance to communities during the run-up to the 2015 goal for ending veteran homelessness in the U.S., the Alliance has produced this one page document that outlines and describes the five major steps that communities must take to end veteran homelessness. The document is the first in a series of resources on ending veteran homelessness the Alliance will provide in the coming months.
