Placer Countyhas developed a plan to end homelessness by the year 2014. Exceeding the federal challenge to end chronic homelessness, Placer County, CA’s “The Path Home: Placer County’s Ten Year Plan to End Homeless” joins the league of cities and counties in committing to ending all homelessness in their region. The strategies used by Placer County in ending homelessness fall into four categories: Prevention, Access, Teamwork, and Housing. These categories serve as guidelines in the action steps taken towards eliminating homelessness.
