Files: PDF | 64 KB | 7 pages

With more than 150 people homeless on a given night in New Britain, Mayor Timothy Stewart and other city leaders have created a plan to end the city's homelessness. To handle current homelessness, the plan calls for housing solutions such as renovations and rapid re-housing and for employment opportunities by connecting job openings and employment services. The plan also seeks to prevent homelessness with increased emergency funds and connecting existing services.
