Exploring Rural Homelessness

Audio | October 24, 2007

Rural communities in selected areas across the country are successfully adopted a consensus building approach to creating their plans to end and prevent homelessness. Rural planners and providers are establishing new and often non-traditional partnerships with a wide range of local, state and federal stakeholders. The Alliance has provided communities with planning tools and design models which are now being used effectively in rural communities.

Speakers on this audio conference discussed the successes and challenges that lie before planners and other stakeholders involved in or considering plans to end and prevent homelessness. This audio conference focused on critical barriers and innovative solutions to the unique nature and conditions of selected rural communities.
