Family Unification Program (FUP) Vouchers… They’re Back!

Audio | September 11, 2008

Last year, Congress passed a bill that included new funding for permanent housing targeted to a number of vulnerable groups.  The new funding includes additional Family Unification Program (FUP) vouchers for child welfare involved families and youth aging out of foster care.  FUP vouchers require a collaborative effort between child welfare providers and public housing agencies.  Communities interested in applying for this funding may find this call informative as they prepare for the upcoming notice of funding availability (NOFA.).  This audio conference reviewed changes regarding the new FUP vouchers and will feature a program that has used FUP vouchers in the past.  This call also explored the latest housing resource available for families and youth involved with the foster care system.
