Use this sample letter as a guide for contacting your senators to ask them to sign on to Senators Jack Reed (D-RI), Olympia Snowe (R-ME), and Charles Schumer’s (D-NY) sign-on letter currently being circulated in the Senate in support of robust funding levels in fiscal year (FY) 2013 for the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) McKinney-Vento programs and the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) vouchers.

Make sure to contact Kate Seif at cseif@naeh.org so we can keep track of total letters sent as we work toward our goal of sending 500 letters urging Members of Congress to submit programmatic requests to their colleagues on the Appropriations Committees and/or sign on to the senators’ letter.
