Use this sample letter as a guide for contacting your senators to ask them to sign on to Senators Jack Reed, Olympia Snowe, and Charles Schumer’s sign-on letter currently being circulated in the Senate in support of robust funding in fiscal year (FY) 2013 for the Department of Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) vouchers.

*Please Note: This letter contains two separate requests:
1) Sign on to Sen. Reed’s Dear Colleague letter in support of robust funding for new HUD-VASH vouchers in FY 2013; and/or
2) Submit a programmatic request to the Veterans Affairs Appropriations Subcommittee in the House in support of $1.351 billion for dedicated homeless veteran programs within VA.
