The Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. has developed a strategic plan to end homelessness - “Reducing Homelessness: A Blueprint for the Future.” The Blueprint is a solid and thorough effort to reach the goal of reducing the incidence of homelessness in the Greater Louisville Area over the next ten years and to improve the quality of life in the community. Three sets of interventions or strategies were developed to address the community’s response to homelessness; the three interventions are:

The Coalition’s Board of Directors gave its approval in July 2002, and activities toward implementation began in August of that same year.
