First Lady Michelle Obama and Senator Cory Booker to Speak at National Conference to End Homelessness
Experts and homeless advocates from across the nation convene in DC

Washington, DC – First Lady Michelle Obama will speak about the Administration’s commitment to ending veteran homelessness on Thursday, July 31, the third day of the 2014 National Conference on Ending Homelessness at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel. The largest event of its kind, the conference will draw more than 1,600 people from across the country, including federal and local officials, homeless advocates, and others working on the front lines of the fight to end homelessness in the U.S.

Other speakers during the Conference will include Senator Corey Booker of New Jersey and Alliance President and CEO Nan Roman. In addition, participants in the 100,000 Homes campaign, which this year surpassed its goal of housing 100,000 people, will present remarks during the conference’s third plenary session on Thursday in recognition of the end of the campaign and the achievement of the campaign’s goal.
