In response to a 2004 Point in Time survey that counted 664 homeless, the Washtenaw community came together to develop “A Home for Everyone: A Blueprint to End Homelessness in Washtenaw County.” With increased information regarding the County’s homelessness, the plan outlines their strategy through four goals: homelessness prevention; housing with supportive services; reforming the system of care; and engaging the community. Full community involvement enhances the possibility of ending homelessness in ten years.
