NATIONAL ALLIANCE TO END HOMELESSNESS TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS IN ENDING HOMELESSNESS
National Alliance to End Homelessness Annual Awards Ceremony to Recognize Leaders From New York, Houston, and Washington, DC, with Mistress of Ceremonies PBS Correspondent, Judy Woodruff and a Special Appearance by Sweet Honey In The Rock.
The National Alliance to End Homelessness, along with event co-chairs, John J. Sweeney, President, AFL-CIO, Richard Ravitch, Chairman, AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust and D. William Moreau, Jr., Managing Partner, Barnes & Thornburg LLP, are hosting the Alliance’s Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 2 in the Terrace Theater at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
PBS Senior Correspondent, Judy Woodruff will be joining us as Mistress of Ceremonies for this celebratory evening and the program will feature a special appearance by Sweet Honey In The Rock! The Private Sector Achievement Award will be presented to Maria Cuomo Cole, Chair of the Board of HELP USA of New York, New York, the Nonprofit Sector Achievement Award will be presented to Anthony Love, President and CEO of Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, Inc. of Houston, TX and the esteemed John W. Macy Award will be presented to Sheila Crowley, President and CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition, Washington, DC.
