State Planning to Prevent and End Homelessness Audio Conference

This audio conference focused on the growing role of state interagency councils and state action plans in preventing and ending homelessness. Featured guests included U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness Executive Director Philip Mangano, Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey, and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Commissioner Timothy Marx.  Mr. Mangano presented a national perspective on new partnerships/collaborations, strategies and resources emerging among an increasing number of states and the federal government and Commissioner Marx shared some of the challenges and successes seen in his state, including a recently released business plan to end long-term homelessness by 2010.
