The Nashville Task Force to End Homelessness has formulated a vision that, within 10 years, Nashville will be a community without chronic homelessness by assuring access to safe, affordable, and permanent housing with a comprehensive area of support services. The means by which this vision will become a reality are included in “The Strategic Plan to End Chronic Homelessness in Nashville.” More specifically, eight guiding principles are included in the plan to express this vision:

The time line for this strategic plan is from 2005 to 2015; the implementation of this plan rests with the Homelessness Commission.
