The state of Utah has had a coordinating committee on homelessness (State Homeless Coordinating Committee) since 1988.  Sixteen years later, this committee endorsed the Utah State “Ten-Year Strategic Action Plan to End Chronic Homelessness.” This statewide plan aims to eliminate homelessness in the state by 2014.
