Finishing the Job: Ending Veteran and Chronic Homelessness

During this briefing, panelists will provide an update on the progress of Opening Doors: Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness and discuss how recent policies implemented by Congress and Opening Doors are working in communities to end homelessness among all veterans by the end of 2015 and chronic homelessness by the end of 2016. Administration officials, researchers, and community leaders will draw on a broad range of experience to discuss policy goals and desired outcomes, comment on effective strategies, and highlight progress toward ending veteran and chronic homelessness in Houston and Phoenix.
