Policy

The Alliance believes that homelessness is a problem with a solution, but the solution requires outcome-focused, research-based, and targeted changes in federal policies and resources. This section is designed to share information about key legislation that creates, modifies, or funds federal programs impacting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • Policy Priorities
Each year, the Alliance develops a set of core policy priorities to guide our work. These priorities were updated in March 2014.
  • Legislative Updates
