On June 23, the Alliance and the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO) co-hosted a webinar entitled “Implementing HPRP in Rural Areas.” Speakers in this webinar explored the unique challenges that rural Continuums of Care will face as they implement their Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) plans. They also delved into new and significant opportunities to address these challenges through effective program design and collaborative strategies.
Speakers included Jamey Burden of the Alliance and Douglas Argue and Jonda Clemings from COHHIO. Rural homeless assistance providers, community action agencies, advocates, and anyone with an interest in using HPRP funds to enhance their homeless assistance programs should listen to this webinar.
